UK Eases Travel Restrictions

In an announcement made this week, the UK Government laid out changes to travel restrictions including the removal of all testing requirements for fully-vaccinated travelers as of 11 February 2022. Unvaccinated arrivals will be required to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test within two days of arrival into the UK. All arrivals will still be required to complete a passenger locator form.

This decision follows a gradual easing of UK travel restrictions in the new year; the Government previously announced the UK would no longer require a evidence of a pre-departure test for arrivals into the UK.

For the past two years, our community has advocated for the resumption of safe, unhindered travel across the transatlantic corridor, and we now welcome the UK Government’s decision to simplify existing travel regulations. Stay up to date on the current travel requirements here.
