Gabriel said, “I first met Kiki way back in the last millennium at PriceWaterhouse Windsor when we were in the early days of our professional careers. There’s been a lot of water under the bridge since then, but I’m so glad we kept in touch, because when Kiki joined the team at F&L (now ZEDRA) seven years ago, she was an instant success, helping the firm go from strength to strength with her unique blend of skills. There has always been an intrepid but professional spirit running through the team and I know that ethos will continue with Kiki at the helm. I have no doubt Kiki is the best person to lead ZEDRA’s global expansion services and I look forward to hearing about the business’s future success under her guidance.”
Kiki has spent her career with various industry heavyweights including EY and PwC in roles which focused on international assignments, employment taxes, reward, HR and payroll. She joined F&L in 2013 and the unanimous decision to appoint her as MD comes at an interesting time. Kiki said, “Since the announcement, I have had many friends and contacts get in touch with their encouragement and best wishes. It makes me realise just what a wonderful network of professionals I have been fortunate enough to work with. I will continue to seek those ever important new connections in the future.”
As 2020 began, Kiki had not considered that she might be in this position. In fact, she didn’t think she would even be in London. “In September 2019, my husband John and I relocated to San Francisco. The assignment was expected to last through to 2022 but the pandemic changed everything. Pretty early on we knew we had to come back to the UK to be with family. We’ve been back since March, but our belongings are currently on a container ship somewhere along the Panama Canal! We should be celebrating our San Francisco office’s 10th birthday but as soon as we can, we’ll make sure we celebrate in true F&L style!” |
