Raphael House Announced as BABC’s Christmas Luncheon Charity Partner

Every year, the BABC Northern California dedicates an Auction Item that directly benefits its elected charity partners.

In 2022, we are delighted to announce that Raphael House will once again be the beneficiary of one item from its Auction to be held on Friday, December 9th, 2022 at the fabulous Fairmont Hotel.  Additionally, proceeds from our fun Heads and Tails game will also benefit Raphael House.

Providing shelter and wrap-around care, Raphael House helps low-income families and families experiencing homelessness achieve stable housing and financial independence. Since 1971, Raphael House has been at the forefront of providing families in the Bay Area personalized family-centered solutions to build brighter futures. Raphael House is a privately funded and community-supported organization, with an unmatched success rate: last year, 97% of Raphael House families maintained their long-term housing stability.

Raphael House offers families a flexible model that takes a long-view approach, helping families where they are to set their own achievable goals. Beyond their stay in the shelter, Raphael House families can also rely on long-term support, knowing that Raphael House will provide a safety net into their futures. Over the next year, Raphael House plans to increase its shelter and operational capacity in response to rising levels of need. Key to this growth are sustainable investments that help fund programs aimed at preventing family homelessness and moving families into stable housing.

  • The Financial Aid for Family Stability program directs critical funds to families to help pay essential bills and rent.
  • The Academic Enrichment and Children’s Programs target children’s academic success, health, and development to break the cycle of poverty.

None of this continuum of support would be possible without a compassionate community working alongside one another. Raphael House families are truly grateful to the BABC members, staff, and volunteers for their continued commitment to giving back to the San Francisco community.

Let’s begin the Season of Giving early and donate now.
