The 2013 BABC Annual General Meeting was graciously hosted by Squire Sanders LLP in their beautiful offices located on the 20th floor in the heart of the financial district, with BABC President Colin Brown and Executive Director Khyati Short projecting an amazing year for the BABC. During 2012, the BABC successfully came in under budget while hitting all projected income goals, setting the stage for a year of steady growth and increased membership. The BABC has also indicated that it is expected to meet all income projections for 2013.

Other topics included the upcoming New Members event, The Big Serve: Taste of Wimbledon which is to be held at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco on July 2, 2013 on their newly renovated SkyDeck overlooking downtown San Francisco. Executive Chef, Adam Mali will be serving strawberries and cream alongside delicious refreshments, providing an exceptional background for prospective members to learn more about the benefits of BABC Membership.

Following this year’s Annual Election of Directors, the BABC is proud to congratulate all previous board members on renewing their membership as well as to welcome two new board members, Mark Goodman of Hogan Lovells and Jeremy Woan of Cyracom, Inc., onto the BABC Board. Sadly, 2013 will be the year in which we see the departure of both Yolanda Quevedo and Intern Hannah Keen from BABC offices, however we look forward to welcoming BABC’s newest Intern Oliver Swift in August.
