Welcome to BAB’s Trade & Investment Update for February 2020.
February saw BAB publish an exciting new guide produced in partnership with Fragomen aimed at companies doing business in the UK. The guide sets out the key considerations businesses should be making with regards to their workers, and how Brexit may affect their operations.
Our New York team held another fantastic event in the Start Up, Scale Up, Sale series, which brings together business leaders and founders to share experiences and insights into starting up and growing a business. BAB’s CEO Duncan Edwards also attended a great networking event with our friends at BABC Texas and her Majesty’s Consul-General in Texas, Richard Hyde.
We’re also delighted to highlight two fantastic events coming up that BAB is proudly supporting. The Festival of Enterprise, and the Margaret Thatcher Conference on Trade. More details (including how to claim discounted tickets if you’re a member of BAB) below.
Last but not least, we’re extremely excited to be back in March for our annual Transatlantic Growth Awards, held for the third year running in London. We’re bringing together the most exciting, innovative and fast-growth companies across the transatlantic corridor to celebrate their success. Attendance is free and open to all who share our passion for celebrating transatlantic success. We look forward to seeing you there!
