When the Trump administration rescinded their guidelines to revoke student visas whose universities transition to remote-only classwork, the higher-education community exhaled in relief. ACCA USA responded to the news, making the case that the business and finance community should be commending the decision as well, since companies benefit significantly from diversity among their workforce, and from employees trained in diverse educational environments.
“Business and finance transcend national borders and take place in an international context. Why would we want our classrooms—including our remote classrooms—to reflect anything other than this reality?” writes Head of ACCA USA in the Wall Street Journal.
