The glorious sunshine that greeted attendees as they arrived soon turned to the chilled fog that the bay area has grown accustomed to at the iconic Presidio Golf Course. Luckily it did not take the gloss and shine from the wonderful venue for the  8^th Annual Golf Summer Scramble. With a fantastic attendance, the participates warmth and enthusiasm made the tournament the success it was and first of all we would like to thank everyone who supported the event. A huge thanks to meticulous effort from the AACC and BABC that came together once again to make the event Bigger and Better than ever!

All perfectly orchestrated by the tournament team at the Presidio, attendees were welcomed with lunch and a gift bag filled to the brim with kindly donated goodies prior to taking their seats in the waiting fleet of golf carts. The shotgun start meant that each team would start at the same time on a different hole.

The tournament which was presented by Claremont and Fairmont hotels played host to 18 groups of players from all abilities in an networking event which allowed individuals to mix and mingle with their fellow competitors over the coarse of the day along with the odd drink or two from our kind drink cart sponsors Vistra

With some stunning hole locations on the coarse it was a great opportunity for Jim Beam, Tri Counties Bank, Aki and Scissors and Cloth to set up their sponsorship tables to greet each group as they passed through. With some tough playing conditions we hope that everyone enjoyed their round of golf and will give Presidio another lash next year.

After the golf there was a wonderful spread of food layed on by the golf club which gave us the chance to have our raffle with some fantastic prizes donated by the In-Kind donors The Man Within, TRACE, Balboa Cafe, Giant Enterprises, Credo,Greg Norman Estates, Intercontinental Hotels and Scissors and Cloth. Thank you very much to everyone that supported the raffle through donations and ticket sales. This support is so unbelievably grateful from us here at the BABC and AACC as it helps grow both our chambers and allow us to put on events such as these.
