What information we collect about you
We may collect the following personal data about you:
First Name, Last Name, Job Title, Company Name, Email Address and Telephone Number.
How your data is collected
We will collect information from you if you are a member of our organization, if you have attended or sponsored any of our events or if you have completed any forms on our site or have contacted us with comments or specific requests. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. The platforms we use that store your data are ConstantContact for email marketing and ChamberMaster for Membership Management.
What we use your data for

- To provide you with the highest possible level of service and to help you get the best out of this website.
- For the effective administration of this site and to record user patterns.
- To send you details on BABCSF events and services likely to be of interest.
- To respond to your comments or specific requests.
This BABCSF Chapter has conducted a Legitimate Interest Assessment to ensure that our use of personal data in marketing communications is proportionate, has a minimal privacy impact and that you would not be surprised or likely to object to receive such communications. At any time, you are free to amend your communication preferences by contacting jhealey@babcsf.org or by using the unsubscribe feature at the bottom of our emails.
We may store your personal data on servers based in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, please note that your personal data will therefore be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not have an EEA-based servers and so this transfer is an integral part of our business operations. By agreeing to this privacy policy you are deemed to give your consent (where required) to that transfer of your personal data.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting obligations.
Keeping your information secure
All information that you provide to us is stored on secure servers. We have put in place appropriate measures to protect the security of your information. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of the information transmitted to our site and you acknowledge that any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access or inadvertent disclosure.
Third party processors
It may be necessary for the BABCSF to transfer your information to third party processors, such as mailing houses, event sponsors, partners in joint ventures, companies contracted to run our events, or to other BABCSF offices. Arrangements are made to ensure that such information is adequately protected.
Amending or viewing your data
BABCSF will endeavour to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them promptly. Information on minors
BABCSF does not knowingly collect for company use any personal information of children under 12 without the consent of their parent or carer.
Changes to our data protection and privacy policy
If BABCSF decides to change its data protection or privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page.
Emails
BABCSF uses reputable third parties to deliver the e-mails you receive. We use ConstantContact for our newsletters sent to the BABCSF community at-large and ChamberMaster to send emails specifically to our members. Your e-mail address will not be shared with any third party other than an agent who has agreed to send e-mails on our behalf.
