The British America Business Council Young Professionals group exists to fulfill the main objective of providing social networking opportunities relevant to young professionals and entrepreneurs.

Mission Statement:
The BABC NextGen | Emerging Leaders Group exists to bring together and mentor the next generation of leaders to the BABC Northern California and to provide a platform for early stage leaders to meet, grow their networks and develop essential leadership skills. The Group is also focused on helping new arrivals to the Bay Area to have access to resources that will help them navigate their new environment.
We do this by:
- Hosting top-quality social, network building and educational events
- Providing access for Group members to a network of experienced leaders through out NeXtGen Mentorship Program
- Attracting passionate individuals who will become future leaders in their careers and within the BABC Northern California Community
- Providing leadership opportunities within the Group by serving on the NeXtGen Committee or other activities

Events
Our staple event is our BABC NeXtGen happy hour which in 2024, will be held at Wingtip.
For 2024, our Happy Hour dates for 2024 are March 27th, June 27th and September 12th. For October 17thth, we are also planning a Trivia Quiz night. SAVE THE DATES!
In addition to our social meet-ups, we have also planned a Leadership Workshop Series taking place throughout the year.
