Raphael House’s Adopt-A-Family Program began in 1989, serving 100 families in its first year with gifts and necessary items provided by the local community. Since then, our community has continued that spirit of giving to spread holiday cheer to thousands of families in need.

Raphael House families continue to face challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic including reduced working hours, layoffs, and medical expenses. Your generous contributions enable families to enjoy the holidays while maintaining their long-term financial stability.

Last year, Raphael House’s Adopt-A-Family Program supported 132 families and 286 children in our Residential Shelter and post-shelter Bridge Programs. We hope you’ll join us once again for this tradition that helps families participate in the festivities without putting their financial stability at risk.

Your donations will support our Adopt-A-Family campaign, and may also be applied to supporting Raphael House programs and operations that provide shelter and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness.
