I am an international accounting, finance, and technology expert with over 20 years of rich experience across a variety of organizational and industry types. I am results driven and a trusted leader with a track record of building and scaling teams and processes that are ‘best in class’. Focused on driving shareholder value as well as compliance and led companies through to IPO and successful high value exits. I am also a Big 4 (KPMG) trained UK Chartered Accountant Fellow (CPA and MBA equivalent) that has worked across many international accounting and tax regimes and am fluent in local regulations in UK, US, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Netherlands, and Germany.
I have worked in various technology businesses across the world including IBM, Diodes Inc, Corsair Gaming, Square Trade and am current heading up the Accounting and Finance function of SambaNova Systems, a pre–IPO Artificial Intelligence solutions company based out of Palo Alto.
I am passionate about bringing my international experience to the BABC and sharing this with other team members and expats that are looking to settle in Northern California- both business and personal.
I live in San Francisco, which I firmly believe is one of the best cities in the world (second to Manchester😊), and spend a lot of time in Napa. The BABC and its members have been incredibly helpful in my successful settling in San Francisco and the network here is invaluable. I would say that the BABC membership is a must for all Brits in the Bay Area. I have to say that the BABC Christmas Luncheon is always one of my favorite days of the year- and a great time to meet new and old British and American friends. I look forward to working with the Board and helping any members in any way that I can!
