San Francisco Pride 2017

The weekend of the 24-25th of June was dominated by glorious weather and equally fabulous outfits;of course Pride had taken over San Francisco and British were not to be left out!

Celebrations began on a Saturday in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco and the Parade, which takes place the Sunday morning of the event, kicked off from Beale Street along Market and finished in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

A very British group walked, cheered and sang alongside a gorgeous Bentley, proud to be part of more than 240 parade contingents and thousands of spectators for the 47th Annual San Francisco Pride Parade. British flags were waved, and British tunes were played while representatives from the BABC, Young Professionals, and the British Consulate celebrated diversity with a rapturous crowd.

Our thanks to the British Consulate General for organizing this event and inviting the BABC community to march alongside them, as well as all those who supported the positive messages of culture, diversity, and equality at Pride 2017
