Join us at Chairity to appreciate and bid on authentic works of art designed by some of the Bay Area’s most creative designers! This year, Bay Area contract furniture firm Two invited 32 designers to take a used chair and give it a new life. The designers can deconstruct, re-upholster, and reinvent their “chair” using whatever means available to them. On October 11th, anyone can take one of these new designs home with them by bidding online or during the Chairity event at EQ3 in San Francisco.
Chairity allows design lovers to enjoy great craftsmanship while giving back to community organizations, with all the proceeds going directly to Raphael House and Project Color Corps.
At last year’s Chairity event, chairs were transformed into bar carts, go carts and light fixtures. With dozens of creatives participating this year, we’re bound to see some unconventional designs that are sure to inspire. Check out photos from last year’s event to get a glimpse of what’s in store.Tickets for the Chairity event are only $10, and with your purchase, we can continue to help homeless and at-risk families achieve stable housing and financial independence while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity.
