LoopUp, the stress-free conferencing solution that puts users comfortably in control, today announced its support of Raphael House, a not-for-profit organization that helps homeless and low-income families in the San Francisco Bay Area achieve long-term housing and financial stability.
LoopUp’s support of Raphael House originated from its membership of the British-American Business Council (BABC), who has supported Raphael House for more than 10 years. Through its task force – consisting of BABC staff, employees from member companies, and Raphael House staff – BABC has sought to coordinate and maximize the support that Raphael House receives. This support comes in various forms. For example, LoopUp, along with other BABC member companies, recently sent out its employees to volunteer at Raphael House’s residential shelter. In addition to volunteering, BABC member companies offer pro bono services to Raphael House. LoopUp is pleased to offer free use of its conference call and online meetings product, ensuring Raphael House has a reliable provider for its everyday remote meetings.
“It’s important to us to give something back to the community, not least those communities local to our offices worldwide,” said Michael Hughes, co-CEO of LoopUp. “Raphael House is a great organization whose mission we believe in. We’re pleased to be able to support them.”
“We are grateful to LoopUp for their generous donation of conferencing services, and to the BABC for introducing them to Raphael House,” said Kate Smith, Raphael House Board Chair. “This new partnership exemplifies what we mean when we say that ‘Raphael House is a community-supported organization’ and we thank LoopUp for their incredible generosity in support of our organization.”
