I am reaching out to you on behalf of Raphael House, a San Francisco organization that has consistently been a leader in helping families who are experiencing homelessness secure stable housing and financial independence. Raphael House is a privately funded shelter and multi-service agency that for more than 40 years has been helping families break the cycle of poverty and move forward with their lives.

On Saturday, November 15,Raphael House will host its annual Gobble & Give Family Festival
. We are reaching out to families like yours to partner with us in raising funds and awareness for Raphael House. As a Family Sponsor at the VIP $1,000 level or $500 level, your family will be acknowledged in the event materials and on the Raphael House website, and you will receive one family ticket to attend the event. The VIP level sponsorship also includes early private admission to the big event!

A festive open-house style celebration that takes place on the roof of Raphael House’s family shelter, Gobble & Give is a family-focused fundraising event featuring carnival inspired
hors d’oeuvres and special treats, a hosted bar, and a variety of engaging and inspiring activities for kids and parents alike! This year we are expecting a sold-out crowd of approximately three hundred people.

Our fundraising goal for Gobble & Give is $40,000; proceeds directly support Raphael House’s work with families in crisis. To date, Raphael House has served over 19,000 at-risk children and their parents since first opening its doors in 1971. Raphael House is 100% privately funded and neither seeks nor accepts federal, state, or municipal funding. Fundraising events account for approximately 16% of the organization’s annual budget.
