2010 London Conference Highlights
“My colleagues and I have gained a tremendous amount of business value from our participation in the BABC’s Annual Conferences. They provide great opportunities to network and establish useful business relationships with potential clients and business partners throughout North America and the UK, as well as more generally to promote our corporate brand and gain valuable business intelligence.” Chris Nicholson, Chairman, Deloitte Global Energy & Resources
The 2012 BABC Transatlantic Conference was held on May 12, 13 and 14 in London. It brought together over 300 delegates including members of the BABC's 25 chapters as well as business leaders from a wide variety of businesses throughout North America and the United Kingdom. The Theme for the 2010 conference was: STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS - 2010-2020 "How will the leading business sectors contend with the challenges of the next decade?"
The conference began with a welcoming reception at the Royal Academy of Arts on May 12, a full day's conference on May 13, followed by a Gala Dinner at Lancaster House, and concluded with a full morning session on May 14 . The conference focused on how the leading business sectors will evolve, adapt and contend with the challenges ahead in order to achieve success. Those attending the conference gained a comprehensive view of the prospects for the key components of our economies across the board, and were shown how to put the challenges of their own businesses into a wider context and better understand the environment in which they are operating.
As always, the Conference provided great opportunities to network and develop business with both members of the BABC and other participants.
