Jo serves as Executive Director of the San Francisco Chapter of the BABC since 2013. Jo is responsible for leading the organization, supporting and guiding its mission, directing its strategic plan and vision for sustainable growth, while enhancing its image and accomplishments
. In collaboration with its Board, committees and staff, Jo also directs the organization's operations and fundraising efforts as well as the on-going creation and development of strategic partnerships, events and member-facing programs that cause effective, tangible and meaningful business expansion opportunities and relationships for its members, and members of the British American business community.
Jo has over 25 years of marketing and communications experience working for companies of all sizes and helping with their strategic marketing and outreach needs including Taylor Woodrow Homes, Knight Frank, St. James Properties in the US and Dron & Wright in the UK. For 7 years, through her own marketing consulting company, Eclat LLC, Jo utilized her skills, experience and background in commercial and residential real estate, to advise and implement strategic marketing initiatives for Campus Property Group, Urban Mix Development and other residential real estate development companies.
Jo thoroughly enjoys contributing philanthropically to her favorite charity, Play Rugby USA. An organization that helps impoverished youth develop the skills they need, through the tenets of Rugby, to build an effective future. She is also a member of, and whole heartedly supports the work of, the British Benevolent Society, an organization based in the Bay Area that helps British citizens predominantly on the West Coast who are in distress.
